Vintage Al Mar Knives #4008-A1 Leather - 1980's New

Description

This vintage Al Mar knife is just out of long-term storage and is perfect for the serious collector.
A former sales rep. sample of ours, it has never been used, carried, sharpened, or sold at retail.  It was only shown to retailers, catalog companies, etc. during our approx. 12 years as sales reps. for the Mar's in 11 Western states.
This is essentially a brand new 30-year old knife and shows the precision craftsmanship and beautiful designs Al was known for.
The stacked leather handled AMK #4008A1 is a great looking version of the iconic SF-SOG fixed blade.
This is a late 1980's example with a mirror finished blade

A former office display piece, this is a terrific knife with tons of eye-appeal
No poly bag or leather.
Glossy mirror finish on the blade with small marks and hairlines scattered on surface.  Small gaps at guard where brass and stainless meet.
Ships in a medium flat rate priority mail box for .80.  Will combine for reduced shipping if you win more than one auction.
International postage is significantly higher and depends on destination.
