    Description
Hello from FANCY ENDEAVOURS (previously savvy*spyglass*treasures)! I am happy you decided to view the wonderful things I am offering. Please do come back to my pages often because I am always on the hunt for more FANCY or not so FANCY products of past human endeavor to offer you!
I recently attended a local estate sale packed with antique child's china, dolls, and a myriad of other antiques and collectibles. I grabbed what I could amongst the crowd and within the limit of my budget.
Please keep an eye on my sales as I found many wonderful treasures that might just strike your fancy and make a great addition to a collection!
A fantastic antique set of two cups and saucers in blue and white ironstone transferware for your consideration. These are children's tea set cups and saucers with a nursery rhyme theme. The cups have adorable animals (a dog, a bird, and a rabbit) cavorting in exterior scenes. The images are repeated around the outer edge of the saucer. And, in the center of the saucer is an image of the dog sitting up begging in an interior scene with a woman standing in front of an open and very empty cupboard. There are no markings on these lovely antique decorated ironstone pieces. They were likely made anywhere between 1850 and 1910.
A FANCY treasure you must HAVE for yourself or a loved one!
    Condition:

    Additional information:
    Sales tax
is charged and collected by eBay automatically depending on your state's laws.
    To International buyers:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below the sold price or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
    And:
Please keep in mind, I mostly sell used items. Therefore, the item may have some minor signs of use I think are not worth mentioning. I will always mention, in my description above, anything major that I find whether it is damage or a manufacturing flaw. If you have specific questions in that regard, please ask! I will be happy to give you more detailed information.

THANK YOU for visiting my Sales!
    Shipping
For the most part, I use Priority and First Class Mail for lighter weight items and for items that may not require a box but can be shipped in an envelope. For heavier items, I will ship via UPS (if shipped within the continental US). Please be ready to supply a street address if you typically use a Post Office Box. UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. To save time, I estimate the size and weight of the packaged item and may estimate a little high. If the shipping and insurance cost you paid ends up being more than a rounding error, I do send refunds back to your Paypal account. If I underestimate, I do NOT request additional funds.
    Why "Fancy Endeavours"?
The name "Fancy Endeavours" came to me as I searched for ways to convey my love for the art and products of human enterprise in a smaller, easy to remember title. From music, architecture, and paintings, to ceramics, jewelry, modes of transportation, clothing and accessories, to the little gadgets you see in "As Seen on TV" ads and everything in between; the things we create and have created in the past to make our lives easier and more beautiful are evidence of free human endeavor and a tangible connection to man's history of advancement.
My previous eBay name "savvy*spyglass*treasures" was inspired by my U.S. Navy experience, love of all things nautical, and by the popularity of "Pirates of the Caribbean" Disneyland ride and the movies. In this name change to "fancyendeavours", I deliberately am using the British spelling version of "endeavor" as homage to the HMS Endeavour, flagship of Lord Cutler Beckett of the East India Trading Company, in the Pirates movies.
It has become fashionable by some to be disdainful (envious) of the creativity of others....to the point of wishing to eliminate it and turning "profit" into a dirty word. This disturbing trend will not survive. However, I wish to do my part to celebrate and remind anyone who does happen upon my little corner of the internet that without man's creativity, our lives would be bleak and hard beyond imagining. And, really, why shouldn't these talented and creative people, and those like me that find them afterwards, profit from our efforts? The things I am offering for sale here on eBay may or may not all be beautiful or Fancy. However, they were made by their creators for the purpose and intention of making lives (theirs and ours) easier and/or more beautiful. I passionately adore free enterprise in all its forms. I hope you will enjoy these offerings of "Fancy Endeavours" and what they represent!
