Rare GERBER PATHCO Knife with Silver Aluminum Magnum Hunter Grip, 13" blade EXC+.
Knife and leather sheath only. No box nor paperwork. Factory original.
The handle material is solid molded aluminum with fine peening to provide a positive grip. The handle is very comfortable and fills the hand. I first thought this was silver Gerber Armorhide, but I don’t believe there is any coating on the handle. I suspect this is an early example of a PATHCO knife.
Comes with the original factory leather sheath.
PATHCO Gerber is a knife product line used for autopsy/pathology purposes.
The blade is stainless steel and is flexible like a fillet knife and it would be handy for that purpose.
I’m thinning my knife collection and there can’t be many of these specially PATHCO knives out there. A unique Gerber knife to compliment your knife collection.
