ITEM DESCRIPTION:
High Performance Racing AC CDI Unit (No Rev Limit and true progressive timing advance curve) used on 50cc & 90cc 2 Stroke Yamaha Minarelli & Chinese (1E40QMB 1PE40QMB & 1PE50QMB) engines found on Many Scooters & some ATV's,
Replaces Yamaha Part #s 3KJ-85540-01-00 & 3KJ-85540-10-00. See my last picture, this CDI replaces this CDI type.
NOTE:
This CDI box has true progressive timing advance. The cheap ones have 1 or two advance steps (some don't advance at all!) no other ignition module will give you the performance of this one!
Wiring:
See picture, AC is AC power from the stator & PC is pulse / trigger coil.
NOTE:
Various wire colors are used for these wires depending on make and model. The AC wire is either Red or Red/Black, The Trigger wire is either White, Blue,  Red/White or some combination of those colors. If you are not 100% sure ...do not connect these two wires. Sending AC voltage into the trigger coil circuit will ruin the CDI.
May be used on these models: Carefully compare to your old CDI to be sure you order the correct one.
