Knob for bottle jack valve release screw on Harbor Freight hydraulic press

New revised knob now fits either the former design jack screw
with a 3/8" or 7/16" diameter valve release screw (

) with across pin of 5/32 (photo #6) or the recent design of the casted valve release screw (photo #7). The new knob also has a longer knurled section for better feel and grip.
Photo 1 has the old style knob which only fit the valve release screw with the cross pin.
It slides on over the release screw, turns 1/4 turn then secured in place with a set screw (included) from the end of the knob. You will need to use a 5/32 hex key (Allen wrench). If you’re tired of removing the jack handle from the plunger/fulcrum assembly every time to release the jack then this is for you. This particular part is designed for the Harbor Freight Hydraulic Bottle Jack used in the 6, 12 & 20 ton arbor presses.
