    Description

    Fine and unusual Hampshire Pottery vase.
    The globular vase has eight lobes on the sides, sloping up to a well formed lip.  Glazed with a glossy deep cobalt that appears almost black;  the think at the lip to a lighter blue.  Much of the sides have a coppery "oil on water" appearance.
    Measures about 5" tall by about 7" diameter.  Incised Hampshire Pottery mark.  Excellent condition.
