    Description

    Hampshire Pottery (Keene, NH 1871-1923) began making their sought-after matte green glazed pieces in 1883.  This curvy pitcher shape is shown on the cover of the 1971 Hampshire Pottery reference book.  It is in an excellent dark almost mottled green glaze & is 6-3/4 inches tall & 6 inches wide at its widest point.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, hairlines, or crazing.  It does have a very small grinding chip on the base as shown.  While not factory-marked, this piece does have the distinctive Hampshire bottom.  Will ship USPS.
