    Description

    Fine early Hampshire Pottery vase.
    The vase is molded with five veined leaves and four buds on stems, covered in a matte green glaze.  The glaze shows lighter green highlights where is is thin, particularly on the stems, points of the buds, and the leaf veins.
    Marked with an incised Hampshire and a raised number 42, which is presumably a model number.  There is also an incised M in a circle, which reported was used by Cadmon Robertson to honor his wife Emoretta.  This mark is said to have only been used in the period 1904 - 1914.
    Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
