    Description

    Early Hampshire Pottery Pitcher, approx. 7" tall. Marked JST & Co. Keene, NH. Unusual because of the hand-painted design of holly leaves and berries under the glaze on both front and back.  Nearly perfect condition; area on the base where glaze did not cover completely appears to be from manufacturing, not damage.  Also has paper label on bottom, possibly original, but I can't make out what it says.  Crazing commensurate with age.
