  • Condition: Excellent condition but..there is varying amounts of gold wear on the rims.The plates show virtually no use..no utensil marks..but there is gold wear on edges. I suspect possibly from the delicacy of the gold and it is wear from stacking/handling over the years. The decorator mark L.Bernardaud & Co seems to date from 1900-1930's so this may be a reason being of that age. But for example Tea Cups gold on rim where you would expect wear from use..no wear at all, just a little at bottom of handles on some from stacking..Dinner Plates some yes have wear (I can send picture) some with none..some with a little..Tureen no wear..small platter yes..When we bought these I thought they were modern Limoges as they had a new look.Anyway..the set is nice by one of the great makers..A 12th Tea Cup will be included which has a very little nick on rim.

    basketweave bordered Ivory porcelain.
    Rare to see Ivory Bernardaud.
    They appear to be hand painted but please look
    at close up pictures to determine.

    B & Co Limoges France.
    L.Bernardaud & Co. Limoges (this decorators mark
    seems to date them from 1900-1930's
    but I am not an expert)
    The Tureen has the numbers #19566 under lid.
