    Description

For sale is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai with a ton of extras. I purchased this vehicle about ten years ago from a person in Arizona. As you can tell it’s 99% rust free. I’ve never driven it in the winter or had it in the mud. I purchased it with 99,201 miles. It has approximately 100,100 miles. (I just replaced the dash cluster with one that has a tachometer so the one on the dash doesn’t truly reflect the mileage) It was completely stock and I added a ton of upgrades. I used it mostly as a weekend cruiser during the summer when I would come back home from college. Once I graduated from college in ‘14 I moved to South Florida and the Samurai was stored in my parents garage. I really don’t want to sell it, nor do I have to. I’m just just tired of it being in the way. It has a clear and clean title.
The interior is in amazing condition and I haven't seen any other Samurai's with the cloth type interior. The seats move and fold up easily. It drives and tracks straight down the road and handles well. Brakes and E-Brake works well. It has the stock 1.3 liter gas engine. It doesn't smoke or burn oil. I have re-geared the transfer case and rear differential so that it will do the speed limit (55-65 mph) with the 31" tires that it currently has on it. If you're looking to drag race, you're looking at the wrong vehicle.I have put many upgrades on it over the years. I will list them below:
-Has a MP3/CD player and two 6x9 speakers in the front.
-Complete JP-Eater Samurai YJ Conversion Lift Kit from Rocky Road Outfitters(deluxe shocks, extended brake lines, can fit up to 34 x 9.50 tires)
-The transfer case has just been rebuilt with 4.16:1 gear set from trail gear. (84% low range reduction and 12% high range reduction)
-The transfer case also has a Twisted TT Shift Shaft Kit installed. (Makes the transfer case have true neutral and 2wd low)
-Low Range Off Road End of Story Extreme Duty Transfer Case Cradle Mount and Skid Plate (virtually eliminates all problems associated with bending/breaking mounts due to torque of t-case gear reduction, and adds protection to the bottom of the t-case)
-Has a new battery, air filter, fresh oil change, new oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, distributor and distributor gear case gasket.
-Rear Unbreakable Transmission Mount from Trail Tough
-It has a Tom Woods Custom Rear CV driveshaft (1310 series u-joints, forged slip yoke, bigger and stronger, eliminating vibration)
-Trail Tough 1” Extended Yoke on the front driveshaft
-Front end differential/seals and knuckles are all recently redone.
-Over the Top Steering Kit (Stage 1) from Rocky Road Outfitters (knuckle over system to eliminate bump steer and keeps the steering bar above the leaf springs)
-Low Range Off Road SPOA Panhard Bar (to help with handling and steering)
-Mickey Thompson 15” Sidebiter II wheels
-Dick Cepek Fun Country II 31” x 10.5” Radial tires
-The rear end has just been rebuilt with all new bearings and seals and Yukon 4.57 ratio Ring and Pinion installed. (Planned on doing to the front also but didn’t have time to do so, comes with original ring and pinion)
As for the things that are wrong with it:
-Small dent in passenger side hood.
-Clock lights up but isn't readable.
-Dash board is cracked in two places and the glove box door closes and locks but is broken when you open it. (Other than that the interior is in excellent condition.)
-Heater works but switching from defrost to the main vents doesn’t always work like it should.
    -Needs new wipers.
    -Rear Seatbelts don't function properly.
-If not completely stopped, it grinds a little going into first gear.
-I have a top for it but it is not in very good shape. (Rear window has some rips that are covered with duct tape, windows aren’t clear/dirty)
-The front and rear differentials aren’t matching (the front is stock ratio of 4.11 and rear has a ratio of 4.57), the 4 wheel drive works great, but I rarely ever used it before since it was a weekend cruiser, but I have never used 4wd since the rear differential has been re-geared.
